What Should I Do With A Broken iPhone 11 Screen  ?

My iPhone is old and broken but I can’t afford a new one, what should I do? It’s just not fair, the new iPhone are really cool but really expensive. I broken iPhone 11 screen and I know I can fix it but the temptation to buy a new one is hard to overcome. What I should do is get an estimate on how much mine will cost to fix or replace.

I called Apple to get a quote for iPhone 11 screen repair and was told $199, they were the most expensive by far. True, they use original parts but is it worth it? I got a quote from a third party repair store near me and they were less than half the price. I thought this was crazy but the tech explained it to me this way.

First, Apple is not in the business of repairing phones, instead they want to sell you one. They will find every excuse not to fix your phone. If there is any sign of water damage they won’t touch it. Second, the rate they charge to fix your device is close to the cost to buy a used one. They offer them for sale as refurbished but they aren’t cheap.

Where To Repair iPhone 11 Screen?

After shopping around I decided to get my broken iPhone 11 screen fixed at a third party repair facility. My iPhone 11 needed a new screen and a new battery. The total costs less than a fifth of the price of a new iPhone 10. Even with the new iPhone 11’s due in September it was a no brainier. The new operating system will still work with the iPhone 11 so I’ll be able to keep all my apps. The tech said if I had the x series it would have made more sense to upgrade to a  11 or an 12. The new operating system will only work on an iPhone 11 or newer.
